Court Hours: Every Wednesday beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Scheduled trials begin at 2:30 p.m.

Instructions for paying your ticket before Court date:

  1. Find fine amount from Fee sheet
  2. DO NOT SEND CASH – only cashiers check’s or money orders will be accepted for mailed in payments
  3. Make payable to Martinsville City Court
  4. Sign ticket and mail in with payment
  5. If you wish to have a receipt – send in a self address/self stamped envelope.
  6. If you wish to pay by credit card call the City Court at 765-342-1259 or 1-866-480-8552 or online  at

Appear on Court Date:

  1. You may request extra time to pay
  2. You can discuss your options with the prosecutor
  3. You can plead not guilty and request a trial
  4. Failing to appear or pay the ticket prior to your court date will result in a license suspension and/or an arrest warrant

A $25.00 late fee will be added for any payments made after first court date – with the exception of seatbelt tickets
